About Us

Our World War II Flight Training Museum is housed in one of the WWII cadet barracks. The Museum is located at 3 AIRPORT CIRCLE, DOUGLAS, GEORGIA 31535-4033. Museum hours are 11 am to 4 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Group tours can be arranged for other days of the week by calling the museum on Thursday, Friday or Saturday or by sending an email request via this website. Entrance to Base

The Douglas 63rd Preservation Society's primary mission is to preserve, protect, develop, and advance the understanding of our nation's aviation training heritage through collections, research, exhibits, and interpretation of the 63rd Flying Training Detachment. Its secondary mission is to try to maintain the heritage and as much of the historical integrity of the Raymond-Richardson Aviation School as possible. We are also proud to be part of the Georgia World War II Heritage Trail.

The Douglas 63rd Preservation Society, Inc., is a 501c(3) non-profit, educational foundation. Donations go toward museum maintenance.
